Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to schedule a export of incidents from a particular queue in csv format? This functionality is possible for custom reporting however not sure if this is possible for incidents.
Hello, I am trying to do some similar, I want to pull from a particular category and subcategory. Did you find any help with your request? The actual API documentation says very little about it.
Hi There, My name is Amir Banet and I am part of the SW ITSM Product Management team, you might be able to achieve something similar via API calls, but if you are looking for out-of-the-box functionality, it isn't supported today, but this enhancement is part of our yearly plans.
Hi Amir, you are correct, that's what I am wanting to do... Use the API to pull tickets for a particular category, and subcategory for the last 7 days. I'm not well versed in Powershell and XML so I was hoping to find more documentation to learn, and possibly some examples on here. So far I haven't found any examples that explain what I'm trying to do.
I see, @cw2908 Hi Chris, do you have something you can share with Dalex299 to help out?
Thanks amirb, CW2908 Chris anything you have to offer would be helpful! Thanks!
It seems like the option to generate the CSV one time or to schedule it should be available from the "Actions" drop down in the incidents list view. It feels like this functionality has been available in many systems in the world for decades, so I'm hopeful that it's a reasonably easy feature to add. Seems like it should be?
Hi Tara,You can export the incidents to CSV with either your current column selection or with all columns using the Actions button in the top right.
You can also request a CSV backup of all areas at once from Setup>Discovery & Assets>Asset Management
