Realized this morning that I havent recieved a notification alert that my routers have come up on dial backup in a long time. We use a "FindDefaultRoute" poller and an alert that watchs for devices that are looking for the default route of our backup link.
This morning I tried disabling and re-enabling the poller, verified that it is associated with devices, cleared the alert, verified the settings of the alert, verified with a co-worker that there have been devices that showed up on dial backup through Nagios and still I cannot get my test router to trip the alert.
Any other ideas of things I can do or check? Is there a service that could be stopped? I am not real familiar with the UnDP application so I am not certain what else is possible to check.
