We sort off a custom property called "App Group". Since a given application server can have multiple templates assigned to it, this allows us to see ALL the servers that affect an app... we often have IIS/Apache Templates, SQL Templates, plus custom app templates that affect a group of servers. This lets us see the affected app as a whole that's clearer than just by templates.
