SSL Certificate Expiry date with Subject Name

Question

I am using two template for certificate Certificate monitoring.

1. SSL Certificate Expiration Date Monitor

2. Certificate Monitor

however, I am not able to get the desired output, I need the certificate expiry date with Subject Name to get on solarwind console or on email alert.

Really appreciated if someone can guide me how to accomplish this? Thanks

This is a custom script that I put together some time ago that includes both the domain name and common name of the certificate. Might give you some additional info.

I'm using the "SSL Certificate Expiration Date Monitor" in my environment...it seems to be working fine.

As far as the monitor showing up in the console...I have the All Application Tree menu on dash board.  Assuming you have this option on your dashboard, it should list the app monitor there....although it's possible I'm not understanding what you're looking for.

For the email part...I configured a separate alert just for SSL certs.  The alert points to the application monitor...based on the settings in the monitor, we get emails at 30 and 15 days out.  I also created an automated report that kicks off every month that sends an email to our helpdesk for ticket creation...this report lists the certs that are going to be expiring in the next 30 days.

I don't have the alert text that I put in, but my issue was that I could structure an alert to get either the component status and expiration date, or the certificate name. There's a shared template you can download via the console from Thwack that might help. I was trying to combine two application monitors unsuccessfully, I just couldn't get the information that I needed out of the monitors or the alerts.
