I have searched a lot of posts already but have not found one that covers this question (yet!)
I have a requiremnt to create limiations for individual windows account users and ad groups on views alone.
I need to be able to give say 'IT Support Desk' access to 'Summary View 1' which may contain a nodes down report, a map of the county with nodes status summarised and other summary related data... sounds simple..
However i only want them to see this view, i dont want them to be able to click through onto a device or click on any other hyperlink - just view the page.
I dont want to have to create limitations based on devices, as certain teams only need to see sumamry info for all devices, just not be able to see/drill-down into any further info.
What currently happens it is allows you to click through until you get a 'restricteed page'

what I actually want is for no hyperlinks to be allowed at all, just access to that 'Home Page' with the default page 'sumamry view 1' , I also dont want to give them access to '/reports' but naturally some of the sumamry view resources will be report based 'node downs' etc and so I currently you get an error
