Temperature Monitor Simmilar to "Interfaces with High Percent Utilization" for APC devices

I know this may be a stretch to pull off, but I am looking to have a Resource on my homepage that has something similar to "Interfaces with High Percent Utilization".

I want to be able to at a glance on my home page to see if the temperatures are going out of tolerance for any APC device.

The "Interfaces with High Percent Utilization" has green if under 80% Utilization, between 80-90% it is yellow and above 90% it is red.

I am looking for something similar where it shows up at 70*F, is green up till 75*F, yellow to 85*F, and red higher than 85*F.

I wonder if this idea could be expanded to include other devices by choosing which vendor type to monitor in an edit screen. I am mainly going after just APC devices but if I could do servers as well that would “kill two birds with one stone”.

If anyone has any ideas on how to do this please let me know.

Hi,

I suggest you create a report and display it in a resource on your home page view.

The name of the resource to use is "Report from Orion Report Writer".

See this post also to create a report that returns stats from a Universal Device Poller.
