Is it possible to make the background of an icon transparant when the status of the object is up (green) ?
When i make a blank wmf file for the up status the background Always gets green.
Jvanderbeken,
Yes and it is free...
https://www.getpaint.net/
Myself personally like to remove the Background that overlays the Lines Between the Nodes.
It may be a bit more time consuming but I think it is worth it.
Cheers,
Dan
I tried with paint.net, in network atlas i see :
The symbol is blank, what is should be because the status is up
When i go looking in Orion is see :
The blank symbol is green from the up status.
I would like to see nothing if the status is up.
Am i doing something wrong ?
I opend a ticket and got following answer from Solarwinds :
Update for Case #1358545 - "Is it possible to make icons transparent when status is up"
Hi Joost,
Thank you for contacting SolarWinds Technical Support.
My name is Marc and I will be working on this case with you.
This is currently not possible for the current NPM version. Would you like me to make a feature request?
Please confirm if you want to proceed with the feature request.
I found the solution :
- open visio and save a blank drawing as a wmf file
- put the blank wmf file under the right icon (in my case Cone1-up.wmf) in the following directory :
Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Network Atlas\MapsWeb\NetObjects
