Easy Switch Inventory

Howdy All!

I am polling the Thwack to see if anyone has a method for an "Easy Switch Inventory" that will not only include units that are channeled together i.e. 3 units connected together with 1 IP address, but also switch port status (vacant/in use).

Any thoughts on this w/o a custom SQL or is this required?

You'll need a custom report for that.

1) Manage Reports

2) Create Report

3) Custom Table

4) Make it match what I've got posted below on the screenshot

It's not pretty, but it will give you the operational status of every interface on every node in your network. You can parse it down by changing conditions or adding columns for more detailed info, etc. But that should get you off to a decent start.
