We just had an issue with one of our locations where a Switch that is included within the managed device list was having severe performance issues.
We have net mon and thresholds set for high traffic utilization. The question is the following:
is there a way to setup solarwinds to automatically discover new active interfaces on a switch (the interface that caused the issue was inactive by the time that the switch was discovered on the tool).
we need the tool to be able to include and start monitoring the new active interfaces. Autodiscovery is already setup on the device, but it does not include the monitoring on it.
any suggestions on this? Thanks in advance.
