Heya,
I'm attempting to monitor some Lotus Notes Servers, and I've gotten our Notes admins to expose the Notes Perfmon counters. Now we can see them in Perfmon and everything looks like it's working correctly.
When I attempt to pull them in Orion though, I don't see the counters in the list. I tried a Browse for WMI counters and I get literally everything else EXCEPT the notes counters.
So then I thought I'd just "pull them with a select statement" which is humerous since I'm basically fishing in the dark since I don't know what I'm pulling...
Here's the basic text for a WMI custom Perf Counter in APM
Select AvailableMBytes From Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_Memory
If I look in Perfmon, I see my "group" is called "Lotus Notes"... that would go in place of memory above.
My counter is, for example, "Agent.Hourly.TriggeredRuns"... that would go where AvailableMBytes is above. But this whole thing basically pulls back "invalid class" when I attempt to run it.
So my question is, how can I find out what classes are avaiable? Imjust downloaded a WMI browser, but have no clue where to start... Anyone have any pointers on where you can find the Perfmon counters in WMI? Or is that the wrong track?
