Can we get the schema of SAM/NPM/NTA database

Hi Guys,

I want the table names for each product like SAM/NPM/NTA.

Scenario is like i want to take CI information(For server - name,ip,vendor,os,memory,cpu count,serial no.,etc and same for network devices as well)data from orion database. is it possible if i can get the exact name of table in which node data is stored so i can query it from orion database?

It will be impossible to get the ERD for the database. We tried this and our account manager was told that one doesn't exist because of the frequent changes. A couple of ways that I have found to get the data.

1. Use SQL Studio or SWQL Studio and browse around. Takes a bit to learn where everything is, but it can be done.

2. Use Hubble by first creating a Web Based Report. See the steps in the following link. Get the sql query of web based report.

Can i get the table name for SAM which have the compete info of a nodes which have been discovered in SAM?

i think it will be same for the a product. it should be base table.

The NodesData table will have the basic info about the devices themselves such as Name, IP address, etc. There are other tables to pull in info such as number of cpus and memory size, OS info, etc. There are several tables that start with AssetInventory. To get statistical data, you will need to dig into each of those tables such as CPULoad_Statistics.

In short, there is no one table to give you all of the info. You'll have to join it will several other tables to get all of your info.
