I have Orion NPMv9.1 and I would like to decrease polling interval for custom defined poller, is that possible?

I believe the UnDP polling interval is tied to the statistical data polling interval for the node. So if you have a 10 minutes stat polling interval assigned for your node, you would have to change that interval to change the UnDP interval
Is the UnDP frequency controlled by the statistics collection on the nodes or the node polling frequency? This thread states the stats collection but the following thread suggests the node frequency:
