SAM is teasing me again?

If you go to the SAM settings page and scroll waaaaaay down, there is a section at the bottom with this tantalizing sentence:

"Application monitors may be added to groups"

And yet the only link in that section will simply take me to the "Manage Groups" area. No indication of how to apply a SAM template to a group rather than a manually-selected collection of nodes.

Am I missing something? Or is SAM stringing me along again?

Component Monitors can be added groups, not that Application Templates can be assigned to groups. Groups can contain any object type (Interfaces, volumes, transactions, etc) just to name a few. Nodes are but one object type that can be added to a group. Groups were initially designed to complement dependencies in Orion so 1-1 relationships were not necessary. Instead a 1-to-many dependency can be made using groups. E.G. These component monitors are dependent upon the SQL Database being up, or this interface being in an up status etc.

I read the description the same as Leon did, that you can add (or as we probably read it "assign") an application to a group. Now that I think about it, I see what it actually does. It would be a great feature to allow us to assign applications to groups of servers as defined in the group manager. This would allow us to simply drop a server into a group, and it magically gets all the applications we need.
