Good afternoon,
Is there a way to spread out SNMP requests in a poll? We have some servers on our network that get hammered too hard by SolarWinds' SNMP requests each interval and the service ends up going down.
You can change the frequency of SNMP polls for up/down (NIC and disk), "regular" statistics (CPU, RAM, etc), Bandwidth statistics, and disk statistics. You can do that either system-wide or on a node-by-node basis.
If you have custom UnDP pollers, you can also choose how often to poll for each of those.
But beyond that, you can't (for example) tune the collection so that CPU is every 5 minutes and RAM is every 6 minutes.
Thanks for the reply.
