I just wanted to ask before I head down this road, but has anyone found a way to perform a compliance audit where rules could query 2 separate nodes for specific criteria? An example of this would be to say that you wanted to verify that the lateral L2 trunk between distribution switches had the same vlans. Another would be you wanted to verify that the spanning tree root and HSRP active router are the same. I have very limited programming skills but wanted to see if this is possible before I dive into it. Any help is appreciated.
