Looking for a way to mass delete thousands of tickets with a close date on or before 8/1/2020. I can do the search etc, but don't want to go page by page, 100 tickets at a time to delete them. Is there a one time rule/action/script that can be run manually to delete all tickets that fit the criteria above? 

I see similar questions asked about creating rules to cleanup every 3 months, etc....I don't want to automate, I just want to run something manually to clean up old closed tickets. Thousands of old tickets = full C:\ drive.

create query for your ticket selection.

Then hold shift and click on select all column title, then it should now display a light blue tick rather than a grey tick.

but... before to do this, check if your company wants a SECURE DELETE which really deletes the tickets from the DB (as normally only marks tickets as deleted and hides them). See Setup - Tech - find your tech admin account you logged in as and enable Secure Delete if required.,,, !!! USE WITH CAUTION !!! 

From there delete using a bulk action, at the bottom of the page, it will then delete all tickets, not just the ones on the first page.
