Round Trip E-mail to multiple Organisations

Hi,

I'm trying to setup Round Trip E-mails to multiple Organisations who want their e-mail monitoring but not sure how to do this. This is for Exchange Organisations. I have downloaded the MAPI APM and have tried configuring it but keep getting authentication issues when checking the e-mail.

Error is:

Testing on node MailServer: failed with 'Undefined' status Unhandled exception occured during checking test e-mail. Original Exception message is: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

I've used these credentials on OWA and they do work and I can see the test e-mail.

Is this been caused by not been on their domain?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The error you're receiving is due most likely to a credential failure. Have you tried modifying the credentials used in APM and including the domain name in the username field? Such as "domain\username"?

If that doesn't work, can you connect to these Exchange servers natively using Outlook from the APM server without RPC over HTTP (AKA Outlook Anywhere)?

As a possible alternative, it may be easier to setup POP3 or IMAP4 component monitors to measure email round trip time.

I couldn't get this working using MAPI but not sure why. I believe it was some sort of authentication issue. I did however get it working quickly using IMAP.
