Disabling TLS 1.0 Protocol on server stops WHD API working

As TLS 1.0 is now considered weak, I looked to disable it on my WHD server, only to find that the API not longer worked, although the Web Interface was fine.

Has anyone else come across this and know of any other suggestions to make my WHD server more secure?

Hi Chris (comtcjm),

TLS 1.0 is currently relied upon by the Web Help Desk RESTful API, you'll need to modify some bits to get this working appropriately, however I would definitely recommend raising a ticket with SolarWinds to get this working accordingly.

Most of the help desk bits wouldn't be too bad, however I'd like to raise this as a security concern for those who'd like to stay aligned with the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) change that was raised to discontinue the use of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 as of 30th of June 2018.
