Change Management Process in WHD

I am looking to build a multi-approval process within WHD. I would like the requester to get the change request approved by their department manager first and once it is completed then it goes to the Network Administrator to scope and document the process. Once that is complete it goes to a CAB for final approval. Does anyone have a good idea on how I can make that happen within WHD? To help understand the flow I am attaching a diagram of it to help clarify what I am trying to accomplish. Any advice would be helpful.

Should be simple? Make a process flow - use dpt mgr for the first level, a single approver for the second, and the CAB for the third as you described.

The approval process in the attachment appears to be a bit more involved but achievable inside WHD. You would need a couple of different custom fields, action rules, and tasks to complete it.

For the portion that is in your example, I would do the following.

Create a department approval process and assign it to the initial request, so it fires the approval on the creation of the request.
Create a task that contains the request for the Network Administrator to scope the document process. You want this to be a task so you can link it to the original request, and they stay connected in a parent-child relationship, and so you can decide when to fire it with an action rule.
Create an action with criteria of request type equals "initial request" and status equals approved. Set the action to run the task you just created. This action will create the scoping ticket for the Network administrator as soon as the initial request is approved.
Create a CAB approval for the final approval step.
Create an action rule with a criteria request type equals "The scoping request," and the status equals Pending. Set the action to add your CAB approval process. This action will send your final approval request to clients in your CAB for approval once the Network Administrator changes the status from open to pending.

So the request is entered, and the approval goes to the department approver. Once approved the Network Administrator will receive the request for the scope, when he completes the scope and changes the status of the request to pending the final approval will go out for approval. The process will be automated, and all the requests will be linked together in a parent-child relationship.
