How to change multiple ticket formats?

Hi Folks,

I am new to WHD. Would like to check if we can change the ticket format into alphanumeric instead of just numeric.

Hi calvincheng,

Are you looking to add words or letters to ticket numbers?

If so, I would definitely advise against trying to do this as it requires altering how the data works within the database. This could cause dire consequences in the future, especially when upgrading, resetting or applying a hotfix to your instance.

At this moment in time, numeric is what we have and that's what we should stick to unless you want to go through an endless amount of pain.
