Dameware Integration With Help Desk

I am trying to integrate Dameware into Web Help Desk. I have the links enabled (both in Assets and Techs) and the links show up next to the Assets. When i click the Dameware shortcut, i just get a web page cannot be displayed or it doesnt do anything. I have Dameware installed on my computer. Do i need the Dameware server installed/running or am i missing something else? Thanks

So i cant go to just any asset i have and click the dameware link, it has to be linked to a specific request type?
