Change notification from HP Procurve switches, is it possible?

Hi,

I have tested the automatic configuration download triggered by syslog messages from a Cisco switch. However I do not seem to get the same working with a Procurve switch. I have configured both syslog and snmp and I do receive syslog messages and snmp traps from the Procurve switch. They are however "link up/down" type of stuff, and configuration changes do not seem to cause any kind of syslog message or snmp trap. I have checked Procurve manuals and they are very brief, basically just listing the commands to enable syslogging or snmp traps.

Is there a way to get automatic configuration downloading based on change notification working with the Procurve family of switches?
