https using a wildcart certificate

Is it possible secure all Web Helpdesk traffic with an wildcard certificate? We just purchased one from Godaddy.com and Im wanting to secure as much internal information as possible with ssl. If so where would I find instructions for this?

Our install uses a wildcard at the local server from Geotrust and we have no issues. I believe the instructions would be here http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/WebHelpDesk/docs/WHDSSL.pdf
