I'm trying to set up the LDAP User Experience Monitor and I'm going nuts trying to figure out why it's not working. I've read the "Configuring and Integrating LDAP.pdf" file mentioned in previous posts, but nothing is working. I keep getting the error:
Testing on node ldap1: failed with 'Unknown' status
| Unable to perform 'bind' operation for LDAP server with given parameters. |
| Object reference not set to an instance of an object. |
I'm not sure what's even going on, because a Wireshark dump on the Orion server shows absolutely no traffic attempting to reach the LDAP server when trying to test the monitor. I've tried it both with the default settings and my own settings in the component monitor. What am I missing here?
