Sending email form help desk..

Dear All,

we have installed Webhelp desk single tech free version...we could not able to send notification email...getting below error.

please help us to resolve.

The ticket was deleted successfully.

Could not send e-mail to Helpdesk IT Rinac <admin@rinac.com>

due to the following error:

530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first

I believe you need to change the outgoing mail SMTP Authentication setting to simple and use your account info to authenticate against gmail. You may also need to 587 instead of 465 if setting authentiation to simple and authentication is not enough to fix it.

Your incoming mail setting would probably be better serviced using either pop,gmail.com and port 995 is using the POP protocolt or imap.gmail.com and port 993 if using the IMAP protocol.

you are correct. in ourgoing email we must select SMTP Authentication should be "simple"
