Average & Peak Circuit Utilizations during working hours - 30 days

This report gives you Average Transmit & Receive, Peak Transmit & Receive, Transmit & Receive % Utilization and finally total Circuit % Utilization of Transmit & Receive for WAN Interfaces on routers. It only reports on usage during the working hours of 8a-6p M-F for the past 30 days.

As with our other reports, this uses a custom property field for location. It groups nodes by location.

There are a few filters that won't apply to other networks, so edit accordingly.

This looks like a great report but there seems to be a problem when you try to download it

I used to use the field time to filter working hours but as soon as I updated orion to vs9 that field disappeared and I can't do that type of reports, is there a way to put it back again, it was very helpful.

When I try this my report goes blank. If I don't filter the times it shows me data, but when I specify the times my report goes blank. Any ideas?

So when I run this report in report writer and execute sql queries it works fine but when I run it from the web console I get 'no activity to report' Anyone know the solution?

I also get the same results on my end. Works in report writer but not on the web interface. Would love to get this working on both places.

I don't suppose there is anyway at all to get a report like this to show up as a graph is there?

I have not gotten that far yet but what I did do that was sort of getting me closer to a graph is make a multiple object view in Orion and then add the interfaces. Below is a screen shot. I am not sure if this is the best or even right way to do it but it is getting me closer to the type of reports our leadership team will like viewing. If you need more info on how I did this feel free to ping me. What we are doing today is exporting this graph into raw data and then manipulating with Excel to produce the pretty report we want. I know Orion has to be able to do the same thing, I just don't know how to make it so just yet.

I have reached out to Alterego, the all knowing SolarWinds guru and am hopeful he will have some suggestions. If it can be done, he is the person who will know how to do it.

Yeah I am also doing something similar to this, but there has to be a better way.

I have changed jobs and haven't had access to Solarwinds to keep up on this. I have an eval install right now and I see what you guys are saying and it not working with the newer versions. I'm afraid I may not be much help since things have changed so much since I last used it.

After working on it, it seems to be with the time constraints. Take them out and the report works. Even worked for me putting in Mon - Fri. There is a thread and blog on using historical reports and time and it should work. Maybe something changed with the latest version at some point.

So for now if anyone wants to use the report, you just can't put in a time frame.
