No one is really using it? Then we are good to remove it?

Aw man, this used to be a thing? I could really use it right now.

It still seems to be a thing, at least in 12.7.1. If you have a widget on your dashboard, and click on the three lines menu, then click Options, then click JSON next to Raw Data, you will get the output in JSON format.

That may or may not help you out.
