Recent upgrade broke WHD Notifier extension

We upgraded from v.12.1 to v.12.5 recently. This appears to have broken the WHD Notifier Chrome extension.

We get the following error:

WHD Notifier

"403 error while fetching tech badge count. Check your options settings."

We get the error whether using a local account or an LDAP'd account. This was working fine before the upgrade.

Wondering if this is a known issue or if anyone else has encountered it and/or has a solution.

I contacted support shortly after posting this. Was hoping for some feedback or workarounds in the interim.

Support confirmed that this s a known issue (though I can't find it noted anywhere). They reported that the Product Developer is working on it and there is no ETA for a fix.

Just another hidden easter egg in the latest and greatest version. I have not received and alert in over 2 weeks and support is "still reviewing logs".

I wish for more transparency with the SW products (the good the bad and the bugly).
