We have an N-central server sitting on a VMWare ESXi 6.5 host which is sitting behind a Cisco ASA5520 firewall. I have opened up the necessary ports on our firewall to allow the N-central server to communicate with the gateway.push.apple.com servers. However, a client of mine has reported that it doesn't work, that the connection is refused. But then we find out that apparently it's working at 4:44AM. We are not blocking traffic based on time of day.
I guess at this point I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this type of behavior?
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. I really just want to help out my client, but I'm not sure how to help him.
