We are a health care provider. How can I stop my clients from entering PMI in the Request Detail. Alternatively, how can I encrypt the request field?
I think your only option would be to hide that field in the specific request type(s) via Setup > Tickets > Request Types: ‘Hide request detail’.
Thanks Justin, I do need the field for other information. I just can't have PMI in the field & I can't stop clients from entering PMI
Understood. That's a tough one.
One other suggestion that users probably won't heed anyway: In the same area under 'Request Types', you could add a note (e.g. "DO NOT INCLUDE ANY PMI") in the 'Detailed Instructions' field. This text is displayed as a blue "Instructions" sticky above the Request Detail field.
You are correct in both cases. I have the line "NO PMI allowed in the Request Detail" in red in the Instructions & they don't read!
