Can you Escalate to a CAB Approval process

We are setting up a rights work flow and would like to have rights requests that fall under our SOP be assigned and closed. However when there is a rights request that falls outside the SOP we would like to use the Escalate to send it to a CAB approval process we have created

Can that be done?
