Aruba AP up/down alerts

Is there a way to generate an alert when a thin AP attached to an Aruba controller goes down?

I don't want to have to add each AP to Orion since the controller already monitors them. But I see them go red in Orion under the controller object, so it would be nice to be able to generate an alert off of that.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see a way to do this.
