Custom SQL Alert Issue

I have a bunch of Custom SQL Alerts set up. Most of them are not having any issues, but i am having an issue with custom pollers. I noticed that we haven't had any alerts going off so i went into the alert and copied the query and ran it in MSSQL and the query returned results. I did some troubleshooting then i opened a ticket with solarwinds. Solarwinds support has been lacking on this issue. They honeslty have been almost worthless with this issue. Can anyone shed any light on what might be going on here? Also, how does solarwinds convert sql to swql? See the attached Pictures.

You are correct. I did not have a trigger, but i didn't need one. The top image shows that 0 objects would be triggered when i set up the alert. Turns out there was a bug in solarwinds using sql and custom pollers. The only resolution that solarwinds offered was to change all my alerts to SWQL. This corrected the issue.

In that alert screenshot I don't see a trigger action.

What do you want the alert to do with the selected IDs after it gets them (if I'm reading that SQL select statement correctly)?

So glad you posted the answer here. Apparently this is STILL an issue. Even on NPM 12.3.

Changed it to SWQL and it worked.
