We don't have plans for non-Cisco equivalents of IP SLA, but we are listening.

What Juniper device and OS are you talking about, and what equivalent of the IP SLA MIB does Juniper have? As you know, the Orion IP SLA Manager relies on the Cisco IP SLA (ex SAA / RTTMON MIB) and without an equivalent in the Juniper world, not much we can do, unless we re-create the whole thing (origin and responder of the tests across the network - different conversation)

Please split out your CUCM product (and make it feature rich) and your IP SLA tools.

One is for monitoring network performance the other is for monitoring a specific application.

I also think that the CUCM monitoring peice needs some serious refocusing and retuning which it won't get if its called "IP SLA Manager"

Seriously conciser it. You kill in the network monitoring department due to your sane interface and ease of administration, something that doesn't exist in UC monitoring products out there today, but I am not going to replace my current tools with "IP SLA Monitor" (which incidentally my network team already owns).

Please also consider adding support for editing IP SLA credentials (required for ICMP path echo) versus having to add totally new ones.

bennetb01, we have been looking at the best ways to help out customers monitor their IP Telephony environments. You have a lot of good suggestions and I would like to talk to you offline to get more information.

mt1299, this is something we are tracking. I didn't put it on this list because it's not as much a feature as just improved usability - definitely important though.

I know IP SLA is a Cisco Technology but we are using Juniper SRX210 at our edge offices. How can we use IP SLA Manager for JUNOS (RPM)? Are you going to support RPM for JUNOS? Because Cisco is so weak at edges.
