Creating an alert for custom poller: UPS Output Load?

Hello all,

I am currently trying to create an alert for a universal device poller I have created and assigned to a number of UPS units within our estate. Please see the image below for the details of this poller:

For testing purposes, I try the "Test" button when assigning this poller and get the following test results (note one UPS is at 78% Output Load, this should be triggering my alert):

I then go to create an alert which looks like the following (it is evaluated every 2 minutes):

However, when I go to the summary page for the alert I am notified that the alert will immediately trigger on 0 objects and if submitted the alert never triggers on the UPS experiencing 78% load.

Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought it might be the missing RowID - but now I see that you are getting the Table...

This is if you are using a Tabular Poller. Instance where you gather multiple values of the same detail, just on different components of the device. ex : Serial #'s (modules,fiber ports, etc. for a network node)  ... here you just want to Get Next.. and Keep the History.

I doubt there is more than 1 value stored or created for the Output % Load.

Unless there are multiple battery banks with separated outputs.... but hey, anythings possible.

My Guess is that you are getting the Table,, and your alert is based on a Custom Node Poller... not a Custom Tabular Poller.

Let me know how it goes.

*** If you are scared about losing your history, duplicate this poller - and then change to Get Next. - so the old poller values can be exported from your DB if you should need.
