CDR data retention settings

We are adding 2 large Avaya Production CM's to our Orion DB.

I am concerned around the addition load this will add to the DB.

I've searched high and low in these forums/KB and admin guide, but cannot find where to set the CDR data retention period.

Please advise....

CDR data retention is not configurable through the web console.

Check the Solarwinds database in the table VoipConfig.  Once in that table look for CdrDataRetentionDays

The defaultvalue is 30 days. Change the Value column to whatever you need. You probably want to double check this information as well.

I go to Start, Programs, Solarwinds Orion, Advanced Features, Database Manager

Add your database (I use add default server) Once that loads, expand your Solarwinds Database and scroll down to VoipConfig..

Double-click VoipConfig,  Press Execute Query, scroll down to CdrDataRetentionDays, Press Enable Table Editing on top, make your changes.
