I have recently (the last 6 months) started working with Solar Winds at my company. I have been able to figure out how to set up basic reports via Report Writer and Report Scheduler and basic alerts via Alert Manager. I am looking to set up a very basic alert for the servers I am responsible for that basically just alerts when the server has over X processes (not a specific process, but what Task Manager in Windows would report). I have the Process Count monitor (application monitor), and have set up a report using that successfully, but I can't seem to get an alert to return the exact number of processes when monitoring an APM: Application.
I apologize if this is a naive question but I have been struggling with this for quite some time and searching didn't provide any answers. Hope I'm posting this in the right place. Thanks!
