TicketActions in URLs, request for documentation

I would be able to perform dynamic actions with URLs and variables.

For example, opening a ticket assigning the client dynamically

Something like "https://.../helpdesk/WebObjects/Helpdesk.woa/wa/TicketActions/new?UserName=myuser"

Any idea where I can get the command and related documentation for the actions in the URL?

I guess it's all about "TicketActions" commands

I would not recommend to use direct calls like this as they may easily change in future. I would rather be interested to know you are trying to achieve?

That would be actually something I'm interested in as well.

Peter, in the example Andrea used, I may use that to save a step. Let's say I'm working assets in WHD, and I get sidetracked and start browsing Thwack. Here's my current process when a call comes in:

1) Switch Tabs back to WHD.

2) Click Tickets

3) Click New Ticket

4) Type Username and hit enter

If I had access to a URL like that, the process would be:

1 ) Click Bookmarklet

2) Type username and hit enter

Even though it doesn't seem like a big deal, shaving seconds really helps me out!

Right now, I use the following Bookmarkets:

Access Ticket: "javascript:%20window.location%20=%20'http://WHDURLHERE/helpdesk/WebObjects/Helpdesk.woa/wa/TicketActions/view?ticket=' + prompt("Enter%20ticket%20number:%20",%20"");"

New Ticket: "https://thwack.solarwinds.com/" (This one doesn't always work, but it works enough to save me time!)

Ok, let me give you my scenario:

I have Lansweeper, when I'm in the page of an employee, I would have a link (Lansweeper call it Action, but is just an HTTP link) to helpdesk, opening a ticket using the employees account number as ticket client.

Lansweeper can pass a variable to the link like for example http://blablabla/user={username}

Solarwinds tech support gave me the WHD REST APIs.

Unfortunately I don't know how to use them in my scenario (not skilled with REST, maybe someone can help me with it).
