License activation fails for Engineers Toolkit

i'm trying to license Engineers Toolkit v10 on Windows 7 RTM. the package installs ok but fails on the internet-based licenseing attempt. When I try to do a manual license install, I get "Unique machine id cannot be obtained". I tried v10.3 and the install won't even complete becasue of a license issue. This was working onthe beta version and now it isn't on the release version. Can anyone offer some advice? I see that others are getting this to work on Windows 7.

Hello Don,

Thwack should be sending you my email to arrange a troubleshooting session.

Edit: Don, thanks for the response. You now have an open support case for this issue. If anyone else has similar experience, opening a ticket with our support staff directly will work a little more efficiently.
