Web Help Desk problem with Tech ticket visibility

Hello

i have installed the webhelp desk system however when i try to create a new tech and log in with that new user i cannot seem to see the existing tickets or even the new tickets.

however i can see all the tickets with the main admin user.

Why is this?

Hi

Making a few assumptions here if this is a new install & your first time using it but..

Each ticket Request type is associated with a particular Tech Group so your newly created Tech would need to be in that Tech Group to see any tickets associated to it. Out of the box the built in Admin account will have visibility of everything which is most likely why you are seeing a difference between the two accounts when you log in.
