IP SLA Operation Result Collection Frequency and IP SLA Operation Frequency

Irrespective of whethe or not SolarWinds collects IP SLA operation result data every 2/3/4/5 minutes, can SolarWinds report the IP SLA operation result data per minute minute? That is, if we configure the router to record IP SLA operation resultes every minute, we configure SolarWinds to collect the IP SLA operation result data every 5 minutes and report the IP SLA operation result data per minute?

Hi 1 minute is bare minimum. but it's possible if you update frequency in the VNQM database:

Find table named: VoipOperationInstances

update Frequency for each operation you want to monitor to 60 (seconds). or simply update all records.

Helllo Michal, Thanks for responding. I worded this question badly. I was really asking about IP SLA history collection. Other posts indicate IPSLAM and VNQM do not collect IP SLA history and this is why we have IP SLA Manager creating blocking transactions when IP SLA operation frequencies are much less than 5 minutes. Supposedly NPM 10.5 and VNQM 4.1 help reduce IP SLA MAnager blocking transactions but we have not been able to upgrade yet. Thanks again for responding. Cheers, Al
