Ability for user-selected parameters?

I find it a bit strange, but it appears that users can select their own parameters as defined in a SolarWinds standard resource (CPU or something) but we have no ability to put a user-defined parameter for different reports.

As it appears that the parameters and filters can only be hard-coded, instead of a single report design with Custom Property configured to switch between clients - I seem stuck with either provided a report with all customers items (such as volumes) rather than being able to define a parameter (like custom property - client name) and allow the report user to select with clients volumes to see.

This appears to be a fairly standard option within SQL reports - so again, it seems strange that there is no such dynamic parameter definition for reporting within Orion.

Thoughts?  Am I missing something?

Hey Matt,

So, your best bet might be using SQL SSRS. Depending on how many customers you have, you can get away with creating individual reports and linking them to a dashboard where they select which report they want to view.
