How to add Assets?

I have setup the discovery connection to use WMI. It finds all of the computers, but how do they get added to Assets? I can manually add them using New Asset but there has to be a way to automate this, right?

My guess is you have the "Sync with Existing Assets Only" option checked in the Connections Basic tab ??

That box is unchecked, although I hope it IS that easy.

I had this issue. I had to hit the sync now button on the Setup -> Discovery Connections page. Then go to Assets and click search to pull up all of my assets. Also noticed WMI does not map client names to assets. I put in a feature request for that.

I ended up connecting to my SCCM server and that works perfectly.
