Title says it all.
I want to have reports reflect the monitor name, but they seem to be reflecting the SNMP interface name. How can I change this? Is there a mass edit property, or is it somewhere in configuration?
I'm assuming that by Monitor Name you mean the Node Name of the device? If not, ignore what's written below
This is what I've done in Report Writer
In 'Filter Results' I'm using
Records where Node Name is equal to xxxxxxxx
Records where Interface Name is equal to GigabitEthernet x/x/x
Then in the 'Select Fields' section I use
Field: Node Name sort * function *
as well as other parameters.
Then on the report it shows the Node Name and not the interface name.
Hope that makes sense.
Thank you, but what I was meaning, was once the report is generated, where I would expect to see a monitor name next to its graph, I'm seeing the SNMP interface name. So, instead of a friendly name I'd have given it, like Port 1 I'm getting something like '1 (if:1)'.

How are you creating this report? Can you please post an example?
From the dashboard:
Click Reports-->Interface Traffic-->Select the node I want-->Results.
However, these names are what I would like to see.
In the individual monitor, I see this, and I can edit it. However, for obvious reasons, doing it for 650+ monitors is not appealing...
Hope this helps clear up what I'm doing, and what I'd like to accomplish.
