Quick question about importing clients through AD/LDAP. Once i make the connection and it finds my users and creates client accounts, are all the users going to receive an email notification of a web help desk account?
There is an option in Setup, under Clients > Options.
E-Mail Client When Account Is Created.
If this is unchecked, they should not receive an email.
Thanks, but if that is checked, once i start an AD sync, the user receive an email?
If it is checked yes they will get an email, if it is not checked they will NOT get the email.
We have ours unchecked since its based on their AD account however we use GP to push a desktop shortcut link to the system to everyone.
Awesome thanks for the Info. So based off that, with the AD sync, it will use their network user name and password is what i understand?
