Just wondering when the SIP call monitoring will be added native into the VoIP module with out the need to create custom polling?
Psssssst.... We're in beta!!! SIP SIP HOORAY!!!!
I'm looking for this as well.
high priority on our end. We would like to add this support in the near future
Any update??? Also, need to update to support CM 9.x and 10.x if possible please.
How about this... supports CUCM 6.x up to and including 10.x.
assuming this is 3rd party tool...
Almost 3 years later... No SIP trunk support yet?
As a managed service provider of Cisco Call Manager we almost exclusively deploy SIP gateways as opposed to traditional PSTN gatways.
Whereas we have previously used Solarwinds to manage the Voice Gateways this is no longer something we can recommend due to the lack of SIP support.
I cannot help but feel that the VNQM just does not get the focus that the other modules do.
horsleya, would you be open to a chat regarding the details of your SIP needs? If so, please contact me at connie.dowdle@solarwinds.com
ding, I would like similar functionality to what we see with PRIs today in VNQM. Utilization, amount of calls in progress, charts showing calls over time. Stuff like that.
HBrandNSB, I'd like to talk to you as well. I'll ping you offline.
Still looking for this
We would like to see this as well. We are moving towards 100% SIP in our environment with Cisco CUBE SBCs.
This reporting is essential.
Let me know if you would like to have a conversation.
I'll pile on here and echo that we are also in the process of migrating to SIP exclusively. Many carriers are beginning to discontinue PRIs entirely, resulting in an accelerated uptick in the need for SIP-specific mgmt/monitoring for many businesses. I've spoken to multiple SW managers and no one has been able to provide even a vague ballpark timeline. Where does this stand on the developers priority list? I, as I'm sure many of you, wear several hats within your organizations and I just don't have the time to pound out all of the custom pollers for all of the metrics that the telecom teams are requiring. This original post is now 3 years old. Can SOMEONE from SW PLEASE give us an update????
Impaler, SIP support is probably the highest priority for us right now. Unfortunately, due to legal restrictions, we cannot commit to a time for beta's, R/C's or GA releases, hence why we don't advertise any timeframes.
I am currently looking into using the universal poller to add OIDs to simply count the number of calls going through our CUBE / SBC. I imagine I am not the first person to attempt this?
We also need SIP support, it's a fairly critical feature missing and its going to make it hard to justify going from the trial to full purchase for a product that can't even monitor SIP
Adding my name to the list. We just migrated from ISDN PRI to SIP and this is an area Solarwinds is LACKING in BIGTIME
Just adding another list to the "NEED SIP MONITORING" crowd. I cannot believe it is taking this long...SIP has been around for 15+ years. It is the future of Telecom and we as companies will have to go to applications that can provide this to us.
Just adding another list to the "NEED SIP MONITORING" crowd for my part two. This future is a MUST!!!
Hello,
We are currently willing to buy SolarWinds VNQM, but without SIP trunk capability, I'm not sure we will.
The silence about SIP monitoring is deafening. For something that was a "high priority" in 2014 and a "highest priority" as of June of this year, it's disappointing to not hear anything. I realize that commitments to dates cannot be made, but after 3 plus years of waiting for this feature, it would at least be nice to know that SOMETHING is being done for this. Or is this product as a whole something that is just not a priority any longer?
If you haven't seen yet, SIP support has been added to the What We're Working On page. If any of you would like to talk about this feature with me, I can set up a call.
Jim, we we love to speak with you. I will reach out via email.

ding, Are there any updates on this? Are you still looking for feedback?
