The Case of the Missing THWACK Points

SolarWinds_Worldwide_LLC

Every THWACK point has a story.

Some are earned by showing up to an event. Some come from completing a challenge. Others are earned by sharing knowledge, participating in community activities, or simply getting involved.

But while looking back at our 2025 community activities, we discovered something…

A few points had never completed their journey home.

So, we went digging through our records, tracked down the outstanding rewards, and gave those points the final push they needed.

Mission accomplished.

All pending 2025 THWACK points identified in our pending records have now been processed and awarded to eligible members.

If you participated in an eligible activity in 2025, now might be a good time to check your THWACK points balance. You may find a little surprise waiting for you.

And while one points mission has officially been completed, there are plenty more opportunities to earn, participate, contribute, and climb that leaderboard.

Keep showing up. Keep sharing. Keep THWACKing.

Think something is still missing? Let us know which 2025 activity you participated in, and the Community team can take a look.

Thanks for the reply John. I was referring to the current points balance shown within the profile box on the home page, apposed to the available to spend points within the store, they are somewhat different. I wasn't referring to the total points accrued balance in the analytics section of the profile activity page. I hope that's a little clearer and helps.

Agree it is not clear. We are working on better way to display your current points. as there are 2 point values now. System was not built to handle that, at the moment. There is your current point balance and your lifetime point balance. Team will look into your accounts and make sure things are made right.

There was a survey I took that I believe I am missing points for 🤔🐸

Can you please check my account, I believe I am missing a few months worth of points from last year

Thanks, @John.Summers , we do appreciate you looking out for us. Definitely looking forward to the cool new store inventory. Also curious about the "other cool things coming"… what could they be?

Awesome

Same here unfortunately. Also seems to be inconsistency's between the points balance shown within profiles and the balance shown while in the store.

Awesome! Can you double check mine, it looks like I'm still missing points from SolarWinds Day registration, virtual class and last year's missions.

We have been keeping a list, waiting for the bulk upload tool to be built. We are up and running now, so all point you earn throughout Solarwinds will be awarded much quicker now. Thanks again for all your patients with the new point system. Look out for more cool stuff in the store and some other cool things coming.

Dynamic Interface Dashboard; HTML/JS
I wanted to share a new dashboard a co-worker ( @mblackburn ) came up with to help us better view groups of interfaces and various metrics for each. Using a single HTML widget, we are able to visually compare numerous different interfaces by populating each interface dataset onto its own graph. We are able to view…
