Approval Tasks Issue

I have a couple of CAB workflows where only 50% of approvals are required. When 50% of approval happens, our process moves forward but the approval tasks do not close. This has created a backlog of 1600 approval tasks for me to deal with. Unsure how to move forward as even with admin privs I cant delete the tasks and I am not in the CABs so I cant approve.

I also dont see a way to index based on if a process has started.

Tasks also don't link the parent object and searching in SWSD is so abysmal that using the exact name change brings in thousands of irrelevant results.
