Sandbox API access

So, I’ve begun testing with the API, but even with a base url of our Sandbox environment, I always retrieve data from our Production environment.Either I’m doing something wrong, totally likely, or it’s just not possible?

Please let me know either way, or point me to specific documentation on how to access the Sandbox API.

This can be closed; I discovered that the API Token I generated for my account is different per environment and embeds the environment id. That's why changing base URL didn't matter, the API Token dictates which dataset you'll query.
