VMware Events Alerts with regards to virtual Center

Create a rule for VMware events where trigger is message contains "HA restarted".

- Create an alert from the rule.

- The alert should send an email to the owners but it unable to fetch the information for variable ${N=OLM.AlertingMacros;M=OLMAlertMessage.EventMessage}

Kindly let me know if anyone faced the issue?

The ${N=OLM.AlertingMacros;M=OLMAlertMessage.EventMessage} macro failing to populate in Log Analyzer-triggered alerts is a documented limitation in how SolarWinds passes Log Analyzer event context into the Orion alerting engine.

The alert fires correctly but the event message payload is not being forwarded into the macro resolution context, resulting in a blank or unresolved variable in the email notification.

Replace the failing macro you should be able to google what those are. OLMAlertMessage.LogMessage is the correct field for the raw event/syslog message body and is more reliably resolved than EventMessage in LA-triggered alert contexts.
